Development of electronic management systems for all types of engines, automatic transmissions, hybrid and electric vehicles.

Information and Intelligent Systems Center is engaged in the most topical and rapidly developing areas — intelligent systems are widely used to control various units and assemblies of the vehicle.

The Center one of the most outstanding projects is the unmanned vehicle on VAZ 1118 "Kalina" base. It uses the latest techniques in the field of technical computer vision. The project attracted journalists’ attention there were released reports on TV channels Russia 1 and Russia 2.

Currently, the center is developing: gas engine control unit, control algorithms for vehicles with combined powerplants all-wheel drive truck and class B vehicles; software for bench friction measurement of tire rolling and gas engines testing, software design and calibration for automatic transmissions control.


  • Implemented complete development cycle of electronic control systems for all types of engines, automatic transmissions, hybrid and electric cars. The development includes mathematical modeling, design of electronic systems, control units and software development, testing and calibration of finished products. Center uses up-to-date software and equipment from industry leaders — Mathworks, AVL, Vector, dSpace, ETAS, Infineon etc.
  • Center develops the intelligent vehicle systems, aimed at improving vehicle safety, as well as enhances passengers comfort: recognition of road signs and markings, warnings about leaving the driving lane, adaptive cruise control, etc.
  • Another important area of IIS Center — electronic systems for electric and hybrid vehicles: vehicle control systems, inverters for electric machine control, monitoring and balancing battery systems, insulation control.
